 之前在Godaddy购买的org域名，按照要求注册人的姓名，地址，电话和邮件全部需要填写。而这些信息完全公开在whois数据库，任何人都可以查到。这里边就有可能包括一些心怀叵测的人利用你的个人信息。 其实Godaddy有提供保护个人隐私的Private Registration服务，不过每年$8.99的原价相对于差不多和域名注册费相当，不是很划算。最近收到邮件，利用优惠码NCSDBP399这个服务降到了$3.99，我就趁机注册了一个。启用后的信息再在whois里查的时候就替代为了Domains by Proxy，而且创建了一个和域名相对应的email，有新的邮件会forward到你的真实邮箱。 本文部分参考了Arif发在atbhost论坛的贴子How to Setup your own co.cc domain free of cost 文中以co.cc提供的免费域名为例，需要先确认你有权限修改域名的DNS。国外的空间提供商的cpanel在设置域名之前要求你先将dns指向空间商自己的name server，否则无法添加新的域名。 1. 到 http://www.co.cc 注册账号，添加一个别人没有用的域名，比如thdp.co.cc Owning a top level domain (TLD) is easy to remember and looks more professional.
